Regg, the determined collector and curator behind Patterngarden, embarked on a journey rooted in a deep appreciation for antique fabric design. For over a decade, Regg honed his expertise in textile design sourcing and supply, navigating both customer needs and aspirations with equal finesse. With a keen eye for beauty and historical significance, Regg meticulously curated a collection that celebrates the exquisite craftsmanship of bygone eras. From defunct textile mills to modernised establishments in and around Lyon, Regg’s sourcing efforts unearthed treasures that captivate the imagination and evoke a sense of timeless elegance. The inaugural exhibition of Patterngarden in May 2022 marked the beginning of a journey that has seen the collection showcased in a series of pop-ups and exhibitions in Edinburgh, East Lothian, and London.
