Judith Rowan

Venue 16 (Art in Shops)
Eyden’s Cafe, 215 Portobello High Street
Open: 7/8 and 14/15 September

Small mixed media artworks focusing on the natural heritage of Edinburgh’s coastline. An undercurrent of tension exists however, between the natural and the encroaching built environment with its attendant risks.

Judith’s work is based on close looking at the natural world, layers of time, surfaces and memory, using print, photography and paint.
