Jane is a mixed media textile artist and this year is exhibiting work, which is inspired by the Figgate Park, although all may not be as it first appears!
Jane is passionate about textiles. They may be plain or fancy construction, modern or ancient, European or tribal and most excitingly experimental, pushing the boundaries of what we define as a textile. Her work will be shown in an outdoor yard area with an open summer house. Expect papier Mache, weaving, paper textiles and paintings. Natural and recycled materials will be used. Recently much of her art has been done in sketchbooks. A visit to Japan and art weeks on Scopsh islands have resulted in exciting new creativity. There will also be some art pieces for sale.
