Imogen Waibel

Art House 34
21 Dalkeith Street
Open: 7/8 September

Imogen is a fine artist who explores nature and man’s interactions with it. She is showing fine art paintings in oil. Having recently moved to Portobello, she has started to explore this area in her recent work.

Imogen is interested in themes of gazing outside from within, manipulating perspectives, extreme close-ups and low viewpoints to draw attention to the plant and animal life that exists alongside us. Her photorealistic style has taken years to develop and has a painterly quality despite the accuracy of form created.
