Glass Lab Edinburgh is a studio and community for stained glass, glass painting, fusing & kiln-formed glass. They will be showing a variety of pieces exploring the exciting possibilities of working in glass.
About Glass Lab Edinburgh is a partnership between David Mola and Jeff Zimmer. We started as an idea in late 2019 and became a reality in February 2020 when we moved into our new space – five weeks before lockdown!
David is a versatile glass artist who has for many years worked with both stained and bespoke kiln glass, in Spain and Edinburgh.
Jeff creates works that explore ambiguity, morality and mortality, and engage with the material and symbolic properties of glass, as well as the sensual experiences of mystery, light and shadow. He works with glass painting, laser engraving and kiln forming.
