Claire Graham

Art House 26
Address: 60A Argyle Crescent
Open: 7/8 and 14/15 September

Inspired by the urban environment, modern and brutalist architecture, typography and advertising, Claire is exhibiting prints made in her studio and at Edinburgh Printmakers and exploring 3-dimensional elements using paper structures created by Kirigami.

Architecture and typography in the urban environment are the inspiration for this series of prints. Using the process of screen printing and lino print to create the images. The work explores form and texture, alongside repetition and layering elements of the print. The finished prinst explore layering of forms and colour. Printing onto 3D forms to accentuate and exaggerate forms.
