Join local resident Kim Kean with a walk around the Art Houses along Walk 4. You’ll have a chance to visit inside each studio and meet with the artists.
The walk starts from Venue 36 at

Pottery Demonstration with Michelle Lowe:
Michelle will demonstrate some of her pottery techniques including throwing pieces on the wheel and decorating her work using slips and sgraffito (drawing illustrations in to the clay with a sharp needle tool).
Sun 8 September, 11am
Basketry Demonstration with Anna Liebmann:
Anna will demonstrate some of her basketry techniques and give a small talk on willow types and preparation.
Also ‘Play with Clay and Willow’ sessions will take place throughout the weekend (7/8 Sept) with clay and tools available at a table in the garden for children to get their hands dirty. Finished pieces can be fired for a donation to Refugee Sanctuary Scotland. Refreshments also available in the garden all weekend.
